'Thor 2' Moving Forward With 2013 Release

Chris is one of my favorite up and coming actors who took the world by storm this year with his breakthrough performance in the original Thor. Since then, Hemsworth has been asked to be in several movies including "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "Shadowrunner" so it comes as no surpise to me that Marvel is once again investing in the talented Australian actor.

The pen for the script will be in the hands of Don Payne, one of the credited scribes on the first film. Payne rewrote Lobo for Warner Bros, and was one of the writers on Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer

Director Kenneth Branagh won't be returning to flick with no word yet on who will direct. Disney will release Thor 2 July 26, 2013 right before 'Iron Man 3' coming out May 3, 2013...both flicks coming out after the events of "the Avengers" which is currently in production and will hit theatres May 4th of 2012.
